Rachel is 8 months pregnant and having nightmares after finding out that her husband's mistress, Mary is also pregnant and information technology could possibly be Lester'south baby!!! As much every bit Rachel and Mary have fought over Lester, this seems like the harbinger that broke the camel'south back. Rachel just can't take anymore, now it is a matter of keeping her heed right for herself and her children.

Rachel has surely matured since book 1 of this series. Although I had anticipated the old Rachel to reappear, she held it together the best she could. Mary had no idea whom she was up against in that boxing. Aunt Minnie was in the way, she needed what Simon gave her. Storyline kept me reading, broken-hearted to discover out what would happen. Ending was bloodshot as I expect forrad to reading well-nigh this Beginning Family.

This was the first volume that I received every bit a giveaway. I enjoyed the book. I read information technology on a recent flight and it held my involvement. I didn't realize that information technology was part of a serial until I was already into it. I will read the other books in the series. I practice honey these books so much. I understand some people may call them cliche, only that doesn't change the fact that they are keen stories. The character growth of Rachel is undeniable and I dearest the fact that she still got a flake of the original Rachel in her! Rachel is a mess. And I honey information technology! Her growth is even more than evident in Say Amen, Again, the last book in the trilogy. Though to me Rachel is the standout character in the trilogy; even so, all of the characters struggle with their ain bug. Each of the characters have their faith tested in one way or another. I have enjoyed reading how they overcome AND fall brusque.

Rachel's story continues in some other series written past ReShonda Tate Billingsly & Victoria C. Murray. In order the titles are Sinners

Rachel is a mess. And I love information technology! Her growth is even more axiomatic in Say Amen, Once again, the last book in the trilogy. Though to me Rachel is the standout graphic symbol in the trilogy; all the same, all of the characters struggle with their own problems. This was the best ending to the "Amen" series considering Outset Lady Rachel Jackson Adams has definitely changed her life for the better. Unfortunately, Mary and her baby daddy, Craig, had been brought upwardly in the foster care system and had a rough life. Corking continuation of the series. Rachel went through a lot of back and forth and drama that didn't take to happen because of Mary. Pastor Lester got himself into situations that he should never become into. Rachel's begetter Simon was a wise human being and I enjoyed him so much more than in the kickoff book. Johnathan and David have both come up a long fashion too. I would highly recommend this book. Peachy continuation of the series. Rachel went through a lot of back and forth and drama that didn't accept to happen because of Mary. Pastor Lester got himself into situations that he should never get into. Rachel's male parent Simon was a wise man and I enjoyed him so much more than in the beginning volume. Johnathan and David take both come a long way too. I would highly recommend this book. ...more

Say Amen, Once again was an exceptional read! I really did'nt see the terminate coming. This book was so powerful. There is then much most forgiveness in this book. Rachel was remarkable in the end. Poor Mary never stood a chance, she had and so many strikes confronting her. I enjoyed this family unit and how they stood upwards for each other. If you read this book, read them in society. In that location are 2 before this ane. Say Amen, Again was an infrequent read! I really did'nt encounter the stop coming. This volume was so powerful. Rachel has really grown up spiritually. There is even so some of the old her that has remained. Her brother is nevertheless struggling to find himself. There is always ane relative in the family that likes to tell others how to live. I really enjoyed this book!

Whew! Lord! Have! Mercy! All I can say is that this read was a hot mess. The quondam Rachel returned (though she's a piece of work in progress) and Mary is a no adept, manipulator, home wrecker, and thief. Billingsley won me over with the first installments, Let the Church Say Amen and Everybody Say Amen. This ane was a folio turner from the very first page. It seems as if drama follows the Adams' regardless. Rachel was a good wife considering many women would have left their spouse with no questions asked. Mary g Whew! Lord! Have! Mercy! Say Amen, Once more is apparently a sequel to some other books written by Reshonda Tate Billingsley, although yous don't really need to read them in order to follow this book. Their story really was of no interest to me, I was really more interested in the subplot, which involved Rachel'due south blood brother Jonathan. In the previous books, he had come up out as a gay man, and is now living with the ramifications of that, mainly his meddling aunt who thinks he should "pray the gay away." He is also a high school advisor and is currently counseling a confused young man whose father bullies him effectually most being a sissy.

While I liked Jonathan's story, as a whole I wasn't too impressed with the other story lines or characters and really take no desire to read any of the other books in this series.

She is about to become a mother for the third time and many feel as if she has become soft, especially the way she deals with her husband and his one-time mistress, Mary. The situation becomes life changing for everyone. You lot will be surprised by the event. Don't sleep on Say Amen, Once again.

What I liked about the book?

The author kept the story on point in that location was no wasted characters or action in this book. Seriously I could non put it down in one case I started because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

Not possible. I suspect that she put a lot of herself into this book to make sure that it was as good as the commencement and I must say that she actually outdid

I really liked this volume. I loved the brusk easy to digest chapters, it fabricated for the plot to unfold rapidly and at that place was never a irksome moment. The Story was most Rachel and her married man Lester and a whole lot of infant mama drama. The other story in the book had to exercise with Rachel'south brother Jonathan and his dealing with being gay. I have not read the other books in this serial, but I would definately like to become back and take hold of upwardly on all of the drama that I missed in the books that lead upwards to this on I really liked this book.
